 A commercial motorcycle rider who is yet-to-be named drop dead in Makurdi, The Benue state Capital. Salemgists gathered that the young man who carried a passenger on his bike suddenly stopped, went down from the motorcycle and that was the end for him, he fell down and died instantly. A source who was watching the incident narrated that the unidentified okada man picked a passenger in the morning, March 29 to warfare Quaters Makurdi. He said everything was fine, the deceased and passenger were having a conversion but events took another direction when the motorcycle rider slowed down, parked his bike, went down and died without any struggle. The source further said the passenger who was a woman with a child did not fall down, they were still sitting on the bike when the incident happened. As at the time of this report, the identity of the young man is still unknown as the police are yet to release any statement about the incident.

A video has gone viral on social media showing a man flogging an old woman, who is said to be his grandmother. The report disclosed that the reason for the man beating his grandmother was because his pastor claimed she is a witch. A social media user identified as Sam Itauma shared the video on the social media platform. Itauma wrote: Can you imagine this man beating his grandmother consequent upon a pronouncement by his greedy pastor that this hapless, poor woman is a witch?  A civil servant, identified as Charles Obong has caused a stir in Uganda following his bizarre instruction to his wife to bury him with tons of cash amounting to Sh 6 million during his funeral. A Ugandan civil servant instructed his wife to bury him with a cash amount of Sh 6 million which is about N600k when converted to Nigerian naira. The money was meant to appease God for the deceased’s earthly sins. IGBERE TV learnt that until his death, the 52-year-old Obong was a senior personnel officer at the Ministry of Public Service for a decade. His son-in-law confirmed that his will stated that his wife should deposit Sh 6 million, which is equivalent to N600k when converted to naira, in his coffin. The money was to be given to God on the Day of Judgment as an offertory so that his sins could be forgiven.  28-Year-Old Man Dies After Falling Into Grave During Burial in Bunyala West The funeral of a church member in Marenga, Bunyala West Ward, Budalang’i Constituency took a tragic turn when a 28-year-old man identified as Emmanuel Makokha lost his life after accidentally falling into the grave of the deceased. According to the area chief, Makokha was a drummer (mpiga ngoma) at the funeral ceremony and had been actively involved in the proceedings. The atmosphere reportedly turned chaotic when, in a sudden and tragic moment, he slipped and fell into the open grave. Witnesses say the incident happened as emotions ran high during the burial.

 A young girl miraculously survived after being involved in an accident which saw an iron hook pierce her eye. Though the circumstance of her accident was not revealed but according to reports, the girl was immediately rushed to the hospital after the incident where the hook was removed.  The girl was only left with a minor scar - with her eyeball fully intact.  An Optometry graduate from Imo State University Owerri (IMSU), Hon Chidi Onyeji Zanders, shared pictures online as he wrote; "Her Eyeball is still intact, She is a miracle child, Thanks be to  God".

 A man attempted to kill his wife and commit suicide, unfortunately, he shot the wife in the face thinking that the wife have died, and he went ahead to shoot himself while the wife survived. The reason for his action is still unclear at the time of this report. The wife who shared the sad news with the pictures mourned her husband.  Two teenage girls identified as Ajuma Simon, and Omojo Shuaibu, have been killed in Igalamela/Odolu local government area of Kogi State.   A python, yesterday, swallowed a baby at Okada, Edo State. Witnesses say the snake, measuring about 10ft long, swallowed a six-month-old baby that was left abandoned outside a house. The baby was reportedly left on a mat outside, while the mother went inside. A witness, who claimed to have arrived the scene as the snake was in the process of swallowing the baby, raised an alarm. People rushed to the scene and killed the snake, but were too late to save the baby.
